The Senior Migration and Support Analyst will be member of a team of cross skilled technology professionals that are aligned with the Performance, Risk, Securities Valuation, Investment Oversight, Data Management, Multi Asset Class solutions, and Fund Board Relations business units within a leading investment management firm. This position will be focused on testing and coordinating the migration of Investment Services and Performance applications to a new data center, and providing application support for the existing suite of Investment Services and Performance applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Application Migration Coordination / Quality Assurance Develop a deep understanding of current Investment Services and Performance Applications to be migrated Develop and maintain project plan for application migration to Client Data Center Develop Test Plans, write Test Scripts, execute Testing, track Issues Coordinate pre-migration application changes and UAT with Client and Developers Execute migration tests Coordinate application migration with Infrastructure team Update application support documents Inform manager and team members of progress, issues and concerns
Application Support Provide level 2 and 3 support for Investment Services and Performance Applications Monitor and manage support requests received throughout the day Triage and assign issues for immediate or later resolution Support other team members in diagnosing the issue, then analyzing and proposing appropriately sized, pragmatic solutions. Communicate with the Shared Services departments and within IT, as needed
